About Jamia Jalaliyya

Education, in its right sense, is the hallmark of culturally developed society. Worldly knowledge alone won’t help man realize his identity and meaning of existence. Secular education with all its material concerns would be incomplete and meaningless unless anchored to strong moral values. A judicious integration of both secular and religious education, therefore, is the need of the hour. The Shamsul Ualama Memorial Islamic Complex had its genesis in May 2006 as a result of the serious deliberations in the matter between Valiyullahi Thrippachi Muhammed Musliyar and Sayyid Muhammed Jufri Muthukoya Thangal. The Islamic complex currently functions under Shamsul Ulama Memorial Islamic Charitable Trust. The Trust has, at its helm, eminent personalities like Sayyid Jufri MuthukoyaThangal, PanakkadSayyid Abbas Ali Shihab Ali Thangal, Usthad Kunhani Musliyar, Usthad Abdul Gafoor Darimi, PK Kunjali Kutty MP, PA Jabbar Haji and Alavikutty Haji. The complex carries out its charitable, religious and educational activities under the supervision of various subcommittees controlled by the Trust which consists of representatives from around one hundred Mahallaths of the surrounding Panchayats, prominent persons from various districts of Kerala and leaders from Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama and its affiliates.
